Hello, yes, you can make it ahead of time. I like to make them closer to when I am ready to serve them.
if you want to save time on the cooking process after blanching your fresh French Green Beans in boiling water for up to three (3) minutes

Quickly cool them by submerging them in an ice water bath, draining them, and removing as much water as possible. Store in the refrigerator for four to five (4-5) days

made this using leftover panettone. Could easily half the recipe, makes a lot. It is very good. The rum and citrus go well with the softer sweeter panettone. Don’t soak the bread very long, panettone is soft and can get mushy. I have another recipe that is similar, but doesn’t use cream or rum. I like this recipe, would probably be good with cinnamon raisin bread.

Hi Davo- there is NO soda mentioned in this recipe. Not sure where you're reading that we added fizzy soda to this recipe. It clearly states lemonade, cherry juice and lemon juice as well as the Jägermeister. Thanks.

“Directions:
In a cocktail shaker add cherry juice, lemon juice, Jägermeister, Calypsp black cherry lemonade, and ice.”

… Are you sure about that, adding fizzy soda to a cocktail shaker?
Or, do you use flat lemonade so that it doesn’t pop the shaker open as all the liquids inside fly all over you and the room?

A typo or just a fake bozo website.
You never put a fizzy liquid into a shaker.

Ok, this was amazing! So glad I found this recipe and decided to take a chance on Thanksgiving. I used less chicken broth (maybe 1.5 cups) and added pomegranate arils on top before serving. The smokey bacon, savory sausage and sweetness of the apples flavor combos worked perfectly and I will forever make this stuffing recipe. Thank you for posting!
