What You Will Need To Make Our Valentine’s Day Mocktail
Orange Juice. When it comes to orange juice, you can use freshly squeezed or your favorite store-bought OJ. I prefer an organic orange just with a bit of pulp, but you do you!
Seedlip Grove 42 Non-Alcoholic Spirit. If you are looking for high-quality non-alcoholic spirits, I highly recommend Seedlip.
For this recipe, we used the Grove 42, which has a taste profile with citrus orange, lemongrass, lemon peel, and ginger with a dry finish.
Gourmet Raspberry Syrup. I love using raspberry syrup in this recipe, but your favorite red color syrup will do just fine. I have tried both strawberry and cherry gourmet syrup with delicious results.
Ice. Ice is a way to diffuse the ingredients and bring them together when making a drink. Each ingredient is suspended in the water and adds layers of flavor, building the overall character of the mixed drink.
Rosemary. Here, a fresh sprig of rosemary gets muddled in the bottom of the shaking tin using a muddler. This process is used to extract the oils from rosemary leaves—this adds subtle piney and woody notes that balance the sweetness of the raspberry syrup.
If you are not a fan of rosemary, adding two or three fresh mint leaves, a sprig of thyme, tarragon, or marjoram is a great alternative.

Yes, replace the non-alcohol spirit with an equal measure of vodka, white rum, or Blanco tequila, and you are good to go!

How To Make This Into A Batch Drink for 8 Servings
Ingredients:
- 20 ounces Seedlip Grove 42
- 20 ounces fresh-squeezed orange juice
- 12 ounces gourmet raspberry syrup
- 8 fresh rosemary sprigs
- Ice (for chilling, not serving)
- 8 strawberry halves (1 half per drink, on cocktail sticks)
Directions:
- In a large pitcher or drink dispenser, add the rosemary sprigs.
- Gently muddle the rosemary just enough to release aroma—don’t pulverize it. We want classy, not grassy.
- Add the Seedlip Grove 42, orange juice, and raspberry syrup.
- Stir well for about 30–45 seconds to thoroughly combine.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the rosemary infuse.
- When ready to serve, fill a shaker with ice, add about 6½ ounces of the batch, and shake briefly.
- Double-strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with two strawberry halves on a cocktail stick.
- Serve and accept compliments.
Hosting Tip:
This is not a dump-and-serve-over-ice situation.
Shaking individual pours keeps the citrus bright and the texture clean; worth the extra 10 seconds per drink.
