These Brown Sugar Pancakes made with Krusteaz Buttermilk Pancake Mix are fluffy, warm, and perfectly spiced. An easy homemade pancake recipe for slow weekend mornings, brunch gatherings, or a holiday breakfast idea.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/3 cups of Krusteaz Buttermilk Pancake Mix
  • 1/2 cup of light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 1 1/3 cups of milk
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  • Place a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat (about 350°F if using an electric griddle).
  • Lightly grease with butter or nonstick spray.
  • In a medium bowl, combine: Krusteaz Buttermilk Pancake Mix, Light brown sugar, melted butter, egg, and milk.
  • Gently stir until combined.
  • Do not overmix; a few small lumps are perfectly fine.
  • Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the preheated griddle for each pancake.
  • Cook for 2–3 minutes, or until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set.
  • Flip and cook for an additional 1–2 minutes until golden brown.
