For the Mango Cherry, we used one package of cherry Jell-O.
And for the Blue Strawberry combo, we used one package of berry blue Jell-O.

Halloween-themed Jell-O shots are so easy to make! You will have them ready to go in no time flat!

Can you freeze Jell-O shots?
Unfortunately, freezing affects the texture of the Jell-O.
Some people freeze the Jell-O shots to speed up setting.
If you do, don’t leave them in for more than 15-30 minutes, or it can affect how the Jell-O sets.
Can I add more alcohol to these Jell-O shots?
If you add too much alcohol to the Jell-O shots, they will not set up properly.
You will find it leaves the Jell-O mixture soft.
I added a good amount of alcohol to these, so you should enjoy the boozy flavor in these shots.
Can I make these a day in advance?
Of course.
Feel free to whip up a batch or two the day before you plan to serve them.
Keep them in a covered dish in the fridge until you are ready to serve. Then right before serving, remove and enjoy.

What alcohol is in jello shots?
You’ll generally find tequila or vodka in homemade Jell-O shots.
Both offer great flavor, work well with the gelatin, and set up nicely.
Will any flavor of Jell-O work?
Go right ahead and switch up the Jell-O flavors you use.
Any Jell-O flavor works for this recipe.
Mix and match as I did, or use one Jell-O flavor.
