Dirty Coke Drink Recipe

- 12 oz chilled Coca-Cola
- juice of 1/2 a lime
- Top with homemade whipped cream 2-3 tablespoons
- Garnish with a wedge or two of sliced lime on a cocktail stick
Cut the lime into quarter lime wedges.
Fill the serving glass with ice.
Add 2 tablespoons of coconut syrup to the serving glass, then squeeze two lime wedges over the ice.
Rim the glass with one of the lime wedges.
Toss the squeezed limes into the glass for extra citrus flavor. Add the 12 ounces of chilled Coke and stir.
Gently stir to combine the coconut syrup, lime juice, and Coke before topping with homemade whipped cream.
Serve.
Directions on how to make coconut syrup:
Yield: 1 1/2 cups of coconut syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tsp Coconut Flavor Extract
- Add 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar to a pan and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
- Allow the water and sugar mixture to boil for 3-5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the coconut flavor extract until well combined.
Allow the syrup to cool completely before using. Store the leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Ingredients for the Whipped Cream
2 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
5 tbsps powdered sugar
Directions for making the homemade whipped cream:
Chill the mixing bowl and the whisk attachment in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
Add the 2 1/2 cups of heavy cream to the stand mixer and mix at medium speed until the cream forms stiff peaks.
Add the 5 tbsps of powdered sugar, then continue mixing until stiff peaks form.
Store the remaining whipped cream in an airtight container and place it in the fridge for up to 3 days.
